About SIRO
SIRO is the go-to platform in Mauritius for dental practitioners looking for a brethren to discuss and educate themselves in matters related to dental implants.
SIRO comprises 48 members, all registered dental practitioners as well as some specialists.
OUr Story
SIRO was founded in 2006 by seven founding members, under the guidance of Prof. Francis Poulmaire. It is a non profit organisation with the aim to encourage professional development and to propagate knowledge in implant dentistry and the associated fields.
Achievement
Since its formation, the association has been involved in the formation and accreditation of its members in dental implant science.
It has also organised several high profile conferences and regularly offers seminars for the convenience of its members.
Dental Implant Education for the Public
SIRO seeks to sensitise the public about the recommendations regarding the options of dental implants as a treatment.
Continuous Professional Development
SIRO is a registred CPD provider and organises several CPD events during the year.
Study Groups for Members
SIRO is seeks to promote good practice in the field of dental implants and encourages mentoring and group study among members.
